Association for Humanitarian Services And Solidarity (AHSAS) is a non-profitable, non-political organization established and operated exclusively for literacy and educational purposes, including, welfare of the underprivileged people in India in general and Bihar & Jharkhand in particular.

By providing education, we will achieve community development on a wide scale that will foster self-reliance and enhance opportunities. It is universally accepted truth that economic prosperity is a worthwhile target and the most viable instrument to achieve it, is good education. Education is the need of the hour, and real development is the development of humans.

Mission Statement

Education is the key to a meaningful life but is often denied in our society. Whatever the gender, cast, creed or religion, we at AHSAS are committed to raise awareness, help eradicate illiteracy and spread education and to provide support  to the needy.

Ayat of the Day

ولكل وجهة هو موليها فاستبقوا الخيرا(البقرة)

Current Campaigns

At present, we are running 3 campaigns. These are as follows:

  1. School Support Program : We are sponsoring teachers in a school and plan to spread this program in more schools in future.

  2. Child Education Support Program : We are sponsoring many needy and underprivileged students in different parts of Bihar and Jharkhand.

  3. Scholarship Program : We are providing scholarships to meritorious students in rural areas of Bihar.

Hadith of the Day

'Abdullah b. Mas'ud reported Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: There should be no envy but only in case of two persons: one having been endowed with wealth and power to spend it in the cause of Truth, and (the other) who has been endowed with wisdom and he decides cases with the help of it and teaches it (to others). Sahih Muslim Book 004, Number 1779
